Your Safety Our Concern

A Message From Dr. Karen Kissinger, owner of Sonrisa Salon and Day Spa.

The unfortunate news from Springfield Missouri concerning two hair stylists at a chain salon exposing over 140 clients to Covid-19 has raised concerns about the safety of seeing clients. It was reported that both stylists reported to work and were allowed to serve customers despite having symptoms of the virus.

I want to reassure all of our clients of the following mandatory practices we have in place at Sonrisa to maintain a safe and healthy environment.

  1. Employee commitment to stay home with symptoms or if not feeling well.
  2. Contactless temperature check for each employee and client upon arrival.
  3. Covid-19 questionnaire to pre-screen each guest.
  4. Compliance with restricted guest counts for social distancing.
  5. Work stations, tools, and flat services sanitized after each service.
  6. Change of Personal Protective Equipment/Aprons after each service.
  7. Hand sanitizers available for use at each workstation and at checkout.
  8. Hand washing after each service.
  9. Weekly deep sanitation with Hospital Grade Disinfectant.
  10. Mandatory facemasks or shields for employees and customers.
  11. Furniture placement allowing more than 6 feet of distance between seats.
